Grenfell Street

Retailers and shops along Grenfell Street are exposed to passengers in passing buses arriving in the city from the suburbs. Several important landmarks including the Ibis Hotel, Adelaide Arcade, Regent Arcade, City Cross and 'Black Stump' office block are located along Grenfell Street which borders the Rundle Mall precinct on the southern side.

The density of large city offices close by add to the vibrancy of the street as office workers arrive in the morning and leave each evening often purchasing items when in transit. Lunch time traffic is busy as city workers take advantage of the exciting shopping opportunities in the large department stores and arcades close by. The eastern end of Grenfell Street is in close proximity to quality cafes, restaurants and fashion stores in Rundle Street.
