Chinatown

A map showing the location of Chinatown

Located in the city's premier food district, Adelaide's Chinatown sits between Gouger and Grote Streets, and is nestled by the vibrant fresh food and produce hub, known as the Adelaide Central Market which supplies a diverse range of fresh produce to the precinct's many restaurant kitchens and food courts.

Home to more than 25 cafes and takeaway outlets, food courts, five star restaurants, wine bars and pubs , Chinatown has a unique atmosphere and vitality, with over 8.5 million visitors per year.

As well as providing an international selection of fine food, Chinatown provides a valuable link to our Asian neighbours. It represents a broad multi-cultural cross section of our community while soaking up the cosmopolitan vibrancy of the precinct.
