The Art Gallery of South Australia, State Library, South Australian Museum and Migration Museum are also located on North Terrace, close to the Rundle Mall shopping district.
The East End of North Terrace is close to Rundle Street, the Botanic Gardens, National Wine Centre and Adelaide University. The West End accommodates Adelaide's Train Station, Convention Centre and Casino complemented by several hotels and quality restaurants.
The Adelaide Festival Centre, Riverbank Precinct and popular Adelaide Oval are located near each other on the banks of the River Torrens. Further along North Terrace is the University of SA Campus and the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, which is easily accessed by tram that runs through the city along King William Street.
